About

In the age of digital prevalence, faced with the challenges posed in today's society, the Social and Human Sciences assume the double objective of gauging new realities and resorting to different methodological instruments, which result from their interaction with other areas and which invite interdisciplinarity. The speed that marks the emergence of new resources and the production of information represents an increased impulse of our activity, which manifests itself in the use of new sources and tools, with an impact on the field of research and the dissemination of the science produced.

In this context, in view of the challenges and difficulties in the field of Social and Human Sciences research, this training is intended to help in the discovery of clues leading to answers, giving priority to dialogue and the exchange of information between different areas of knowledge.

This Summer School, therefore, aims to contribute to the development of collaborative work and, through the use of new methods and instruments, to enhance the achievement of results. To this end, it relies on the collaboration of specialists in the areas of Information and Communication Sciences, History and Geography, who will seek, in a creative and interactive way, to support students/researchers and teachers to respond to the challenges of the present time, increasingly dependent on the digital.
